The South Woodham Ferrers United FC 3rd annual summer 5v5 Tournament took place on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July 2023, we had 99 teams play over the weekend with over 700 players playing in the tournament. Well done to all the teams involved in the tournament and congratulations to this years winners and runners up.
We raised a further £2,000 for our 2 chosen charities “Friends of Broomfield” and “St John Ambulance” and over £500 for the club.
A big thank you to all the teams that took part in making it a fantastic weekend.
The weekend wouldn’t have been as successful as it was without all the help and support from all within the club, a special mention to Manny, Smithy and Kristian who didn’t miss any of the weekends action, plus so many more who were involved you know who you are. The tournament again had great support from local businesses who sponsored the event, please see photos. Thank you to our sponsors and vendors for your support over the Tournament weekend.
Plans are already underway for a 2024 tournament and again we look to make the weekend bigger than this year, watch this space!
