The sun shone down on a packed Compass Gardens last Saturday as the Town flocked to celebrate another successful year for South Woodham Ferrers United Football Club.

Every one of the Club’s thirty-seven teams were honoured; from the Development Squad, Mini Football 5v5 and 7v7 squads, through to the Youth 9v9, 11v11, Girls and Senior Men’s teams.

There were also heaps of activities to keep everyone amused and entertained, which culminated in the much-anticipated coaches match.

Everyone made their way home happy. This was a massive tribute to the SWFU F.C. committee members, volunteers dedicating their time and Chelmsford City Council for preparing Compass Gardens for the Town’s ‘summer event of the year’.

SWFU F.C. are looking for players to be a part of their new Saturday team and Sunday team that they are looking to run for the 2019/2020 season. They are also looking for players to join their other teams next season.
